\[K_w = [\mathrm H^+][\mathrm{OH^-}] = 1.0\times10^{-14}\ (25\,{}^\circ\mathrm C),\qquad \mathrm{pH} + \mathrm{pOH} = \mathrm pK_w = 14.00\]
含义Meaning
In any aqueous solution [H⁺][OH⁻] is constant at a given temperature. Ionisation is endothermic, so Kw rises with temperature (pKw ≈ 12.3 at 100 °C).

| \(K_w\) | 水的离子积ion product of water | 1 |
推导Derivation
Autoionisation 2H₂O ⇌ H₃O⁺ + OH⁻ with water activity 1.
取负对数即 pH + pOH = pKw。
Take −lg.
With ΔH° ≈ +56 kJ/mol, van ’t Hoff predicts Kw increases with T.
